Android Text Message Error Cant Play Audio. Try Again

I take a Blu Android telephone. Model Vivo XI, Android 8.one.0.
When I get audio messages from people, my telephone displays an error message "Can't play sound. Please try once again." It can play sound recordings I recorded on the telephone but can't play audio letters other people ship to me. Any idea why?

Cleared cache and forced stop the text app. Still can't play audio. Installed a new text app called Textra. Can't even tap the Play button for audio messages now. Nothing happens. No error bulletin. Won't let me play the audio message.

Pic texts? yes. But can't play any sound recordings that are sent to me.

I have no idea. I just receive the audio recording in a text bulletin only tin can't play them.

If you have no idea we can't help. You lot should be able to download a file and check its backdrop. It's possible they are not in a format that your phone tin't handle but without knowing the file type, the help stops hither, sad.

Thanks for the confirmation. Does the message show there'south an zipper? I've read if you long press the message (not the attachment) that you may get an pick to download the file. Could you lot try that? Thanks

Did that and got an error message maxim "Letters keeps stopping".

OK I'm scratching my caput a chip. I know texra didn't piece of work but Google Messages is quite robust. Another thing to endeavour is dorsum upwards your messages articulate cache and data in your messages app, also disable it, reboot telephone, enable messages, permit information technology update if in that location are any, restore your backed up data. Hopefully that will take care of any corrupt files
